Hi, I wanted to send my congratulations on a great newsletter. I read them very often and your recent review of “iPad for Lily” was spot-on. I bought it for my niece who just had a birthday and she and her slightly older sister said they both love. I could hear it in their voices.
You did a great review which based on your honest review of other items, gave me a belief that this would be a good buy.
I recommended your site to a friend and also put it as my facebook status message so that other’s make enjoy your service as well.
If I may suggest as a web site owner myself adding some descriptive text summarizing what your site does on the home page. I was looking to copy and paste that succinct summary for my Facebook status message but it wasn’t there. Just 1 sentence is great.
Again, a great service and will continue to share.
How can be changed the number of Apps or the type of Apps that can be shown in the OPEN IN menu in the iPad?
I have some data files from specific Apps as Filemaker, but the Filemaker Go App did not appear as an option in the OPEN IN menu.
Thanks,
Raul Arellano
I was wondering if ipad insight offers any guest posting opportunities for users to share their content on your website? I have been following ipad insight for some time now and the information from this site has formed the basis for a lot of my content (with a linked reference of course). If you would like some posts sent your way about ipad decals or ipad’s in general feel free to ask its the least i could do. :)
Hi. Could you not use this tablet version of your website? I like to see the desktop version — I find the tablet version unusable. It takes too long to load, and the font is too small, and I can’t even zoom in to make it legible. :(
I don’t know who thought this tablet version of websites was a good idea, but so many websites are using it now. As a site dedicated to iPads, I wish you’d take the time to do a usability review of tablet “optimized” websites. In my opinion, it is exactly the opposite of optimized — slower, less legible, less flexible.
