In the grand scheme of Apple releases, today’s is merely a blip on the radar. However, the release of the PRODUCT(RED) iPhones 8 and 8 Plus do extend the pattern of mid-year color additions to the iPhone line to a second year. If you recall, Apple released RED versions of the iPhones 7 and 7 Plus around the same time last year.
While the iPhone X didn’t get a new (PRODUCT)RED version (or the predicted Blush Gold version, either), it wasn’t left completely out of today’s release. Apple unveiled a PRODUCT(RED) Leather Folio for the X today, as well.
This case actually looks really good in this color, and kind of makes me regret getting the rather bland looking taupe model last year. I’ve been using it quite a bit lately to carry some extra cash in, as I keep coming back to it every so often. The design actually works quite well, and it can also hold up to a little abuse. If you are interested in a wallet case for the X, this one should work well for you, and it should also be widely available. You will also be helping out a very worthy cause.
