Great apps and a huge selection of great apps are a big part of what makes the iPad such an amazing device. There are excellent apps for just about any purpose you can think of – from serious productivity to pure entertainment. Better still, there are lots of great free apps for the iPad. Our Best Free iPad App of the Week posts highlight these apps.

This week’s pick is TheFind,  a slick shopping and price comparison app. Here’s a little slice of its App Store intro:

Shop even hard-to-find products at the best prices, and easily checkout at any online store. Your experience is continuously personalized from your favorite stores and brands, so you can find items that best fit your taste and style. And, all your purchases, shipments receipts, searches and saved items are automatically organized.

The app has a clean interface that’s easy and pleasant to work with. It’s also fast and smooth in bringing back results for searches and in all its actions.

The range of stores supported is huge – as the app’s search works across the web and results always offer up a good set of options to choose from. It’s quick and easy to check out your past searches and products with just a couple of taps.

You can choose to login with Facebook to further personalize your results or skip that if you prefer.

You can also checkout from any of the stores right from within the app, with a handy custom keyboard that makes it easier to enter frequently used checkout info.

Here’s an App Store link for TheFind.
