Who doesn’t like great iPad apps? At iPad Insight we definitely do. With that in mind, we offer up a quick review of an excellent iPad app, or a few great iPad apps, here each week.
Our weekly picks for Best iPad App of the Week are published here every Saturday. Check out all out picks below and you’ll soon have a collection of stellar apps for your favorite tablet.
This week’s pick is Spotify Music, the app the brings the popular music sharing service to the iPad.
The app has just been updated this week with a new look and a dark theme – and it looks great. There are a number of very good music streaming services out there to choose from and I’ve tried out a fair few, and have come back to Spotify recently. I appreciate its huge music library, slick UI, easy discovery of new music, sharing and seeing friends’ music, and its new nicely priced family plan. It’s my go-to music app again on the iPad, iMac, and my phone as well.
Here are just a few of the notable features of Spotify for iPad:
- Create, edit, and share playlists
- Create personalized radio stations based on favorite artists
- Search for songs, artists, and albums
- Get personal recommendations and follow playlists created by others
The app is free to use, and with a premium account you get these additional features:
- Play any song, any time on any device: mobile, tablet or computer.
- Enjoy ad-free music.
- Listen offline
- Get better sound quality.
