Using Star Walk 2 is as easy as pointing your iPad, or other iOS device, at the sky to reveal what lies beyond.  You’ll be able to follow along in real-time using your iPad’s built-in gyroscope to display on your screen to the stars and planets as seen from your location.  In addition, you can search for objects, and Star Walk 2 will show you which way in the sky to look to view them.

Here’s an App Store link for Star Walk™ 2.  Currently offered as Apple’s free App of the week, now is the perfect time to download  and start discovering what celestial objects are in the skies above where you live.  There are additional in-app purchases available within the app.  However, while the app is currently free, now is the perfect time to pay the extra $3 to add ALL additional available content to your experience.
