An amazing, beautiful, huge, phenomenal, unbelievably great, far better, condensed version of Steve and Co’s iPad announcement last week. These have become a standard after every big Apple event, and I love ‘em. :)

Why can’t I view that video on my new iPad?
Don't know, you tell me. It's a YouTube embed, so it plays fine on the iPhone – so I'm betting it'll be just fine on the iPad as well :)
On my 3GS, I just see a big rectangle with a clear indication that it won't play ("play" button with slash through it)
I can go into the YouTube app, search for it, and watch it there, but the embed won't work.
Is there a setting for it that I've missed?
It's showing up fine and playable on my 3GS. Under Settings / Safari do you have Plug-Ins turned On? (right underneath Javascript)
Plugins turned on, but no luck. Any ideas?
I've never been able to view video in mobile safari.
I just assumed it was the lack of flash support that Everyone's so riled up about.
Oh, so it's not just this particular clip. Not sure why – is your phone jailbroken?
Could it be that I'm on 3G, not wifi?
My iPhone IS jailbroken, do you think that's the problem?
3G shouldn't be the issue. Does your native YouTube app work? I know there have been various issues with YouTube for at least some users of some recent Dev Team jailbreaks.
Solved! I had the youTube app in a folder (using categories). I put it back on springboard and now embedded links are working! So jailbreak wasn't the problem, but it was an accomplice ;-)
Good – glad to hear you got it worked out.
