Frequency for iPad

Frequency for iPad – the excellent personal video service app – has been updated this week, to Version 1.1.1.

One of the biggest additions is 100 new channels, including new Reuters TV channels. Also mentioned in the change list for this update are full screen continuous play, faster video load times, and fixes for a ‘Unexpected Server Response’ error (which I’ve never seen in the app).

Frequency was our pick for Best Free iPad App of the Week last week; here’s just a little slice of what I said about it in that post:

Of course the best thing about this app is that it helps you browse, find, and enjoy good video content. It does a great job at this.

It’s good to see this already impressive app getting an early update.

Here’s an App Store link for Frequency; it’s still a free app.
