And here they come. Looks like there’s quite the torrent of iOS 6 iPad app updates today. On the day of the iOS 6 release, it looks like the App Store review team is perhaps churning out the approvals as I’m certainly seeing a good number of updates for the the new version of iOS today.

My updates badge on my iPad jumped from 40 to 59 just within the last couple hours. I know, that’s a huge number of updates – but I do updates just about weekly, but when you continually have 200+ apps on the iPad they can stack up pretty quickly at times. Times like today.

Among the new iOS 6 iPad app updates I’m seeing are a number of Apple’s own app, including Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Airport Utility, Podcasts, iTunes U, and iPhoto – with what looks like a massive update.

I expect the flood of iOS 6 app updates will continue for at least a few days now. Are you seeing this flurry of new app updates on your iPads?
