If you’ve run out of ‘serious’ options for cases for your new iPad 2, Rovio and Gear4 have got a nice alternative – official Angry Birds iPad 2 cases.
There are three versions of these minimal, hard plastic, back cover cases. They go for $49.99 each and are available at the Gear4 page for them here: http://us.gear4.com/category/_/135/ipad-2-cases/
I’m still looking around for a full-protection case with smart cover features; but I’m pretty sure if my daughter had a vote she’d go with one of these, probably the middle one above.

Question for you or a reader: Does anyone know if you can use the Zagg Invisible Shield with the standard Apple iPad 1 case?
Yes you can, but there have been a number of users who have experienced issues with the Apple case ‘bleeding’ onto the back of the iPad when invisibleshields are used.
Do they have a back cover that incorporates the smart cover?
Not that I’ve seen – just these simple covers.
Thanks for the prompt answer. I would just be using the front invisibleshield. I guess I’m not clear on what you mean by the Apple case ‘bleeding’.
Bleeding means dye from the Apple case was getting onto the invisibleshield covers of some users. I did a post about it quite a while back: http://justanotheripadblog.com/ipad-accessories/ipad-cases/apple-ipad-case-bleeds-onto-ipad/
And I’ve heard a number of other reports on this since then as well. I honestly think that first Apple case was terrible.
