Griffin Technology has recently released a few new accessories for the iPad. Their Loop stand for the iPad is one that caught my eye.
I like the look of it, though I wonder a little about how sturdy it is.
Here’s more detail on the Loop stand, via its page at the Griffin site:
A clean, simple stand, weighted and shaped to hold your iPad upright for viewing, or laid back for surfing and typing, in landscape or portrait mode. Loop cradles your iPad in soft, cushioned inserts to protect it from scratches and from unwanted movement while you use it.
But Loop is more than just a comfortable place for your iPad to hang out. The open-loop design ensures you can plug in your dock cable (available separately) to charge and sync. And Loop has non-slip rubber feet to protect your furniture.
View your iPad in portrait or landscape
Upright position for viewing
Inclined position so you can type or surf comfortably
Use with your dock cable (available separately) to charge and sync
Secure non-slip rubber pads prevent slipping and sliding
The Loop iPad stand goes for $29.99 – and you can get more info, check out a short video demo, and place an order at its page here:
