We know we can get our hands on the new iPad in around two months time.  Now we’re going to need some accessories for it.  And cases are generally right around the top of the accessories list for mobile devices.  So it’s good to see some accessories manufacturers already announcing some iPad products.

Griffin Technology – a well-known name in the accessories arena – has got a nice little selection of iPad cases and a screen care kit listed as coming soon / Spring 2010.

Here are some quick details on a couple of the cases listed at Griffin’s new iPad page:

Elan Passport
Folio case for iPad

Our folio flips open to reveal the Multi-Touch display, then closes like a book for privacy and protection, Elan Passport’s microsuede lining protects your iPad from scratches and smudges. Held shut by a tab closure, inner cover includes pockets for ID and more.

Slim enough to slip into a backpack, bag or briefcase, tough enough to protect your iPad from whatever it may find in there. Slip your iPad into Elan Sleeve then flip the tab closure down to secure it. Then gently pull the tab to slide your iPad out quickly and safely. Stain-resistant synthetic outer shell with smooth micro suede interior.

They’ve also got a neoprene sleeve case and a ‘durable silicone’ back-only case, as well as a basic screen care kit listed.

There are no prices listed yet for any of these items, but you can give all of them a look and see more details at the Griffin iPad page:

I quite like the look of the Elan Passport folio case.  Let us know if you see anything you like.
