I’m seeing announcements of new cases and accessories for the iPad more and more frequently just lately. Here’s one that caught my eye yesterday when my friend Dan mentioned them over at Gear Diary.
It’s the Ultimate iPad SleeveCase from Waterfield Designs, and it looks quite sleek and attractive to me. I especially like that you can choose whether you want the case in horizontal or vertical orientation.
Here’s a little more info from the Waterfield Designs site:
Ultimate iPad Sleeve Protection. Safeguard your iPad with a properly fitted SleeveCase. Cushioned with high-grade neoprene and wrapped in a nearly indestructible ballistic nylon shell, the iPad SleeveCase functions as a stylish stand-alone case or can be inserted into another bag. And no need to take your iPad out of its snug compartment when going through airport security—it’s TSA Checkpoint Friendly. With its impact-resistant screen protecting insert and its scratch-free, screen cleaning Ultrasuede® lining, you’re good to go. It’s a slam dunk.
Waterfield Designs have also got a thin suede jacket case for the iPad.
Both cases are available for pre-order and are expected to ship within of the iPad’s ship date. Prices range from $19-59, with shoulder straps and pouches for the Ultimate SleeveCase charged extra.
