I haven’t used the Zagg keyboard before, but I got the Brydge keyboard for Christmas and I really like it. I got the aluminum version without the speakers (I have a Bluetooth speaker set up so the speakers seemed surplus). The Brydge keyboard is certainly heavy, but that just serves to make it feel more sturdy and ‘protective’ for my iPad. The hinges certainly lock the iPad in position and they really grip well. It took me a couple of days to get used to the right-shift key as it is awkwardly positioned, but that would seem to be a minor issue. I really would recommend this to anybody and people I work with wanted to know where I got the new mini Mac book from!

Thanks. I think I’d recommend ZAGG, just because I’ve used theirs more and I know what I’m getting. I haven’t seen the polycarbonate Brydge model though – so I’m just going with what I know.

Great review, thanks. Off to look at the ZAGG products now. Is it mostly just the weight issue with the Brydge? Asking as the plastic version is probably lighter…or is it that the keyboard just feels better. I’m looking to use my iPad2 more often with typing so want a good keyboard. The price of the plastic Brydge is the same as the ZAGG proplus keyboards…so which would be best when price is not the issue?
