Valentine’s Day is a week away, and if you’re anything like me you could probably use a little help with your preparations for it. And of course the iPad App Store has got a topical featured section for just that purpose – filled with apps and games for the romantic day.

The new section has got sub-sections covering themes like Be My Valentine (apps for poetry and cards and such), Cooking for Your Valentine, Games We Heart, and even one titled Lonely Hearts.

Two of the most promising sub-sections (for me anyway) are Date Night and Gifts for Him and Her – as it never hurts to have a little extra help when trying to think of ideas for February 14th.

As always with these topical featured sections in the App Store, you can find this one in the main Featured area – it’s one of the rotating ones in the top banner area.
