Agendus for iPad is an exciting new entry in the iPad App Store. As far as I’m aware, it is the first full-fledged PIM (personal information manager) app – offering Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks management.

Agendus has been around for a long while on other mobile platforms.  I liked it quite a bit on the old Palm OS, and not so much on Windows Mobile.  I may well take a look at this new iPad version, just because it offers the full PIM package, syncs with Google Calendar, and make use of the built-in Contacts app’s database.

Here’s  more detail straight from Agendus for iPad’s App Store page:

Agendus integrates your Calendar, Contacts and Task List into one application… and makes it fun! Your Contacts are automatically populated in Agendus, because it seamlessly accesses the native contacts database and enhances and extends the built-in iPhone Contacts App. Along with this is a full-featured Task Management solution, allowing users to get things done quickly and efficiently when on the go on their iPad.

Advanced features include the ability to set icons for tasks and events, view a list of upcoming birthdays, get weather forecasts, and much more!

Last, but not least, Agendus has full calendar support, utilizing over-the-air synchronization with your Google Calendar.

You can find Agendus for iPad in the App Store now, priced at $9.99.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Agendus for iPad if you’ve had a chance to try it out, and I’ll certainly share mine if I give it a look.

I have used this app on other platforms and loved it. When it works it’s a great app. BUT ….. ‘when’ is the important word. As of writing today this app crashes all the time. Events and tasks disappear and reappear and unless they do something quickly they are going to lose their share in the apps market.
