Band of the Day for iPad (and iOS) has had another good update earlier this month – to Version 2.5.

The most notable new features in this update are the ability to Like any song, band or video in the app and share your likes on Facebook; and a sidebar section that highlights similar bands from the app’s artist catalog.

Here’s the full change list for this update:

- Receive notifications when a new band is available
- Easier Facebook connection when starting the app

This is a great app for discovering new bands and artists, It’s a past pick for Best Free iPad App of the Week, and one of my selections in the list of the Top 25 Best Free iPad Apps.
