Best App Ever Awards – Have You Voted Yet?

Best App Ever Awards

The Best App Ever Awards have been my favorite set of iOS app awards for many years now. I especially love the concept behind them:

Honor the best, not just the best selling

Another thing I really like about these awards is that they’re chosen by users; last year more than a million votes were cast. Voting for the 5th annual Best App Ever Awards is already underway and you can vote for all your favorite iOS apps right now and right up through January 31.

There’s a Best App Ever overall winner of course, as well as an excellent and very broad range of awards in individual categories. There are overall categories like most innovative or best time killer and application awards covering everything from productivity to gaming, from educational to social networking, from music to photo editing, and so much more.

I promise you that as you go through the categories and choose which app to vote for you’ll be reminded of just how many truly great iOS apps there are, and you’ll get some great ideas for apps to install on your iDevices.

Whenever you have a chance, take a look at this year’s Best App Ever Awards. I really think voting in them is a win-win for all of us iOS users. We get a useful reminder of all the excellent apps out there across a host of categories and lots of fine, lesser-known developers get some well-deserved attention for their apps. Here’s where you need to go:

Disclosure: I’ve helped out a little on these awards over the years. This year I helped with some of the nominations, though of course the vast majority have come from users.

  1. Here’s to great apps! We live in an app world. People are glued to their cell phones and iPads. Apps have come a long way and are welcomed by the masses!
