Brave Storybook Deluxe iPad app

Disney/Pixar’s latest movie BRAVE has a companion iPad app – Brave: Storybook Deluxe. It’s an interactive storybook that retells the movie in a condensed and entertaining form. Here are some of its notable features:

• Disney/Pixar animation and tap-and-play surprises!
• Full retelling of the film with text highlighting!
• Character voices, music, and vibrant art!
• Action-packed archery game featuring scrolling animation and pop-up targets!
• Challenging scavenger hunts, dynamic puzzles, and coloring pages!
• Multiple reading modes: Follow Along, Read and Explore, and Record Your Own Voice!

My 9 year old daughter saw the movie last weekend and loved it as much as any movie she’s yet seen – so I gifted her the iPad app a few days back during an afternoon where she looked as if she’d run out of entertainment ideas.

Happily, this app has proved a big hit with my daughter as well. When I asked if it was any good I was quickly informed that it’s awesome. She is enjoying all the features of the app – from the storybook itself to the coloring and games activities.

If you’ve got kids who enjoyed BRAVE the movie and also enjoy iPad storybook apps, then you may well want to give this one a look.

Here’s an App Store link for Brave: Storybook Deluxe for iPad; it’s priced at $6.99 and is a universal app designed for both iPad and iPhone.

    1. Good to hear. I didn’t get to see the movie yet – but heard the rave reviews from my wife and daughter. :)
