Chameleon Clock is a fun new iPad (and iOS) app that uses the iPad’s back camera to provide a live background for its time and date information.
It’s got a few other nice features as well. You can swap out of live background mode and it adapts its background color to whatever background it sees via the iPad’s camera. An elegant slider control can be used to adjust how subtle and light or strong and dark the time info is – and a single tap toggles the time and date text between white and black.
This is quite a fun and original clock app for the iPad and iPhone.
Here’s an App Store link for Chameleon Clock; it’s priced at just $0.99 and is a universal app designed for both iPad and iPhone.
Take a look at the video above for a quick demo of Chameleon Clock in action. Hope you may also deicide to give it a like and subscribe to our YouTube channel while you’re there.
Love what you’re doing man, or woman, you’ve been a great help to this old man.
Or woman?
Patrick, I want to have same wallpaper on my ipad as yours. Could you send me link? Thank you in advance!
Yeah I really love this one. It’s called Aqua Dots and you can grab it at full retina and other sizes at our iPad Insight Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/ipadinsight/
