CloudOn – which brings Microsoft Office to the iPad via the cloud – has had another quite nice update this week.
The app already offered easy access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on the iPad, as well as integration with leading storage and file sync services Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box.net. This week’s update brings these slick new features:
– Send direct links to files to your contacts
– Copy and paste text between iOS mail client, Safari, other local iOS apps, and Microsoft Office®
– Drag & Drop functionality to easily move files & folders
– Open web links directly in Safari
I’ve tried out the new features and they work very well. CloudOn is one of the best solutions available if you want to work with Microsoft Office documents on the iPad, and this latest update makes it even more impressive. I especially like the ability to copy and paste between CloudOn and other iOS apps.
Here’s an App Store link for CloudOn; it’s a free app.

I am not able to see in AppStore
You might have mentioned that is only available in the US. Yes we do read this stuff outside the US – who would have thought it…
Couldn’t find the CloudOn app in the App Store; doesn’t seem to exist?
