Evernote – the powerful and feature-rich note taking app for the iPad (and iOS) – got another update last week, to Version 4.1.8.

Two of the more notable new features in this update are predictive note titles (untitled notes get assigned a title based on location, time and other contextual information) and note editing performance improvements. Here’s the remainder of the update’s change list:

● Easier access to notebook sharing options
● Improved ability to apply styles, edit, copy, and paste within notes
● Fixed numerous synchronization issues
● Improved login and registration experience
● Fixed cropping problems
● Improved stability

I’m behind on my iPad app updates (yet again) so I only just got this one installed last night. It’s not one of the bigger updates I’ve seen for Evernote – but it’s another regular, solid update for an already stellar app. Evernote is one of the most frequently, and usefully, updated apps around. That’s one of the many reasons it’s such a great app.

Here’s an App Store link for Evernote; it’s a free app and a universal app that’s designed to run on both the iPad and the iPhone.
