Flipboard, the award-winning, flagship magazine app for the iPad, has been updated today, to Version 1.5.2.

Support for iOS 5 and some options for font sizes in articles are the two most notable items on the change list for this version.

★ Font sizes. Now read Flipboard in normal, large or extra-large font for articles, captions and comments.
★ Twitter single sign-in for iOS5. Connect to Twitter with one tap instead of entering your username and password.
★ Other bug fixes and iOS5 support, including a fix for occasional issue causing Flipboard to take up an abnormal amount of memory on the iPad.

Here’s an App Store link for Flipboard; it’s a free app.

  1. Ive been trying to update flipboard for iPad after installing iOS5. It keeps telling me that I have to go to the US site to update. By pressing “Yes” it will take me to the US store. When I go to the US store and try to update, it says that Flipboard cannot update. My iPad was purchased in the US and has never left. My husband is from the UK and we have had problems in the past with our Airport Extreme “cross pollinating” our devices (ie: his apps end up on my iPad and my apps end up on his, even though we have never plugged our devices into each others computers) What to do?

Side note; I thought it odd, after installing iOS5 that my iPad started spelling “Favorites” as “Favourites”. Both of our iPads were purchased in San Diego, and have never been anywhere else.
