The Google+ iPad app has had another big update today, to Version 4.3.0. This one is packed full of significant new features and improvements for the app. Here’s the change list:

- New photo editing features: add filters, rotate and crop
- New profile design
- New notifications tray
- New set-up flow for new users
- Control the volume of posts that you see in your stream from individual circles/communities
- Filter search results by best or most recent
- Tell your friends about a community (by sharing it or sending an invitation)
- Reshare posts to communities
- Display counts for unread messages in your communities
- Additional community moderation features

I installed the update just a short while ago, and so far I am well impressed with it.

Here’s a few quick screenshots of some of these welcome new features in action, starting with the new ‘notifications tray’ – I’d say it’s a bit more like a like a sidebar:

A very nice update for this already impressive app.
