Hulu Plus, the excellent TV and movie streaming app for iPad and iOS, has been updated this week, to Version 2.6.3.

The single and significant new addition with this update is an as-free Kids content section. At the moment the new section has over 40 TV shows and just 3 movies. Presumably this will grow pretty quickly.

The TV shows range from those targeted at very little ones (Thomas & Friends, Barney) to quite a few that are aimed at those in my 9 year old daughter’s age bracket – eg Victorious I think. I may be wrong though, as I often find that by the time I realize how much my daughter likes one show she has declared she now hates it and it is for much younger kids.
