iPad Apps for Super Bowl Sunday

iPad Super Bowl apps

Today’s the day – Super Bowl Sunday. The climax of another NFL season, hours upon hours of buildup, tons of attention paid to all the commercials that companies pay zillions of dollars for, and somewhere along the way an actual game.

And a pretty damn good one this year it looks like. Two teams that are as old-school as you can get in the NFL and that look very evenly matched – hopefully this one is going to continue the recent tradition of close, hard-fought Super Bowls.

Of course, if you need some Super Bowl help and companionship, there are plenty of iPad and iOS apps out there just waiting to suit up for you, so to speak. There are Super Bowl XLV sections in the Featured area on iTunes on the desktop as well as the iPad and iPhone App Stores.

Apps range from an official game program from the NFL – Super Bowl XLV Official NFL Game Program – to a separate Party Planning section that’s full of recipe advice apps, grilling help apps, and a few cocktail guide apps.

I’m looking forward to the game. I’ll be skipping all the pre-game nonsense and tuning in right around kickoff time. How about you all? Plans for Super Bowl watching? Have you got any apps to help you enjoy the game tonight?
