iShare+ for Google+ is a good Google+ app for the iPad. You know, the device that Google just hasn’t had time to release an app for ten months and more than ten updates after releasing an iPhone app.

First thing to notice, and give a round of applause to, in this app is that it supports *both* landscape and portrait mode – something the Google+ iPhone app doesn’t do of course.

Here’s a list of some of the app’s notable capabilities:

Manage pages.
Compose posts with attached images and rich web links.
Mention people in posts and comments.
View and filter your stream and What’s Hot.
View your notifications.
Manage your circles.
View users’ albums and comment on and +1 photos.
Share and +1 existing posts.

I only just installed the app a short while ago, but so far it has done everything I’ve tried out, and done everything well. It feels as if it loads the streams more quickly than the G+ iPhone app on my new iPad.

It even lets me switch between my own profile and my site’s page, just as easily as in a Twitter app.

Plus1

If you’re an iPad owner and a Google+ user I’d say this app is well worth a look. So far it’s a lot nicer to use than the lame Google+ iPhone app.

Here’s an App Store link for iShare+ for Google+; it’s priced at $1.99.

Disclosure: The developers provided me with a promo code for this app. For information about our review policies please see our About page.
