The Omni Group have submitted OmniOutliner for iPad to the App Store for approval (3 days ago) – so it should be out within a week or so.
If you haven’t come across OmniOutliner, it’s currently a desktop app for Mac that is much, much more than just a tool for creating outlines. It’s a feature rich but still easy to use app that is extremely versatile. You can use it for a number of purposes including managing tasks, brainstorming ideas and generally organizing our thoughts.
I use it on the desktop and find it quite a handy app, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing the new iPad version when it hits the App Store.
If you want to get a heads-up as soon as OmniOutliner for iPad hits the App Store, you can sign up for an Omni Group news email list via their blog post on this release, or follow them on Twitter, @OmniGroup. Thanks to the guys at Macgasm for sharing the news on this release.
