Opera has announced that their popular ‘Opera Mini Browser’ will be making its way soon the iPad with a formal announcement at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain.
105 million people might use Opera’s browsers today, but Opera Software cares even more about tomorrow. At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, new versions of the Opera Mini browser on Android, iPhone, J2ME, BlackBerry, Symbian and even the iPad will appear.

Opera has been a major name in mobile browsers for a long while now, so it will be interesting to see what they can bring to the iPad. I’m more than happy with the iPad version of Safari, but I’m curious to see what an iPad version of Opera Mini will bring to the table.
