PDF Expert Presentation Mode

PDF Expert – the excellent PDF handling app for the iPad – has been updated today, to Version 4.2. The big new feature in this update is Presentation Mode. Here’s some of the detail on this new feature:

Presentation Mode
Connect your iPad to a projector and make interactive non-linear presentations in court, class or in a meeting room.
✓ Interactive presentations
Combine content from PDF documents, images and videos during keynote and even add notes and comments, which become immediately visible to the audience.
✓ Live annotation tools
All your annotations are shows on the screen while you make them, so you can write a remark or make an illustration atop the slide.
✓ Focus tool
Highlight important points during the presentation with Focus Tool

I’ve been giving this new presentation mode a quick try this morning, and it looks good. PDF Expert is one of the very best apps for working with PDFs on the iPad, and one of the picks in our Best iPad Apps of 2011 list. It’s also an app that has a superb track record when it comes to frequent and substantial updates from its developers. Today’s update is just the latest example of that.

Here’s an App Store link for PDF Expert for iPad; it’s priced at $9.99.
