Here’s an iPad app sale that’s about as Christmas-y as they come. A Charlie Brown Christmas, the wonderful iPad storybook adaptation of the classic TV special, is on sale at 40% off. It’s down from $4.99 to $2.99 – as a Christmas flash sale.

I grew up as a big fan of the Peanuts TV specials and I’m delighted that my 9 year old daughter is maybe even a bigger fan. Peanuts collections books are amongst her favorite bedtime reading material. So needless to say this iPad app is a big hit in our house as well. One of the great things about this app is that the story is narrated by Peter Robbins, the original voice of Charlie Brown – and the app uses the original dialogue from the 1965 show as well as digitally remastered illustrations, animations and music that’s been optimized for the iPad.
