The TED Talks app for iPad and iOS has been updated this week, to Version 1.8.1. This is the official app for the wonderful series of TED Talks, which are described as Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world.
The highlight of this update is more great content, in the form of new and previously unavailable TED Ed and TEDx talks and also new TED Radio Hour audio feeds.
This is one app where more content is always better, because it’s just great quality content. The new audio feeds are easily accessible via a single tap on the Listen button at the top right of the app’s main screen.
Here’s the remainder of the change list for this update:
• Fixes a launch-time crash on certain configurations
• Direct links into TED talks from Facebook
• Performance and stability improvements
TED is one of my all-time favorite iPad apps and one of the selections in our list of the Top 25 Best Free iPad Apps. It’s great to see adding more content and features.
Here’s an App Store link for TED; it remains a free app and a universal app designed for both iPad and iPhone.
