The BeatBlaster for iPad has had a recent update, to Version 1.1.2. Two of the headline new features in the update are support the new iPad’s retina display and a way to shuffle album, artist, and playlists.
This app turns your iPad into an old-school HiFi system and is a lot of fun. I did a review of BeatBlaster last month – give that a look for lots more detail and screencaps of the app. The app looks even better now with this latest update.
Here’s the rest of the change list for the new version:
- One click to follow @beatblaster on twitter
- Added a settings switch to disable iTunes Search
- Added more links to contact support
- Added a button to add or remove a radio from the favorite list from the Player view
And here’s an App Store link for The BeatBlaster; it’s priced at $2.99.
