The Real Photoshop for iPad Is in Development, Looks Great

There’s been a cutdown version of Photoshop – Photoshop Express – available for the iPad since last summer. Now there is what looks like a much more powerful, real deal, type version of Photoshop for iPad in the works.

Adobe gave a demo of it recently, that included showing off its capability to work with layers.

It’s been years since I’ve used Photoshop, but the demo of the upcoming iPad brought back memories. If it’s done right, this could be a real flagship app on the iPad (and wouldn’t that be ironic, given who makes it) and another nail in the coffin of the tired, lame argument that the iPad is just a device for consumption.

Check out 9to5Mac’s post on this to see a video demo of Photoshop for iPad – and please note the video is not viewable on an iPad. Thank Adobe for that, not me please.
