The Telegraph for iPad - the iPad edition of the UK broadsheet title – has been updated and is now offering subscription plans via In-App purchase.
The new version of The Telegraph for iPad is 2.0, and the major changes in it are as follows:
– Greater depth of content including video, picture galleries, graphics and cartoon archives.
– Quick and Cryptic interactive crosswords.
– 30-day archive.
– Night-reading mode.
The subscriptions on offer are $1.99 for a single issue and $16.99 for a month. These sounds like they may compare well to buying a print edition daily, though I’m not sure how they stack up against an annual print subscription. UK readers please chime in in the comments if you can enlighten me.
Its good to see another quality newspaper title offer iPad edition subscriptions. I haven’t had a chance to look at the app, but I will do soon and will post a review once I’ve spent some time with it.
Here’s an App Store link for The Telegraph for iPad; it’s a free app with subscription plans as mentioned above.
