USA Today for iPad has been updated today, to Version 2.0.9.

The big change in the update is support for the new iPad’s retina display. USA Today was already one of the best looking iPad newspaper apps – and now it really looks stunningly good following this update. I did a review of USA Today for iPad back in the summer of 2010, and was highly impressed with the app. I’ve continued to be impressed with the app ever since and included it in our list of Best iPad Apps of 2011. It’s great to see it updated now for the new iPad.

The 2.0.9 update also includes some bug fixes and improvements to Facebook commenting.
