As we approach another summer weekend, there are lots of iPad app bargains to be had. For starters, the ever-excellent Instapaper app is on sale at $2.99 – dropped from its standard $4.99. There’s no word on how long the sale will last, so now is as good a time as any to grab yourself a copy of this stellar app.

There are also lots of iPad games from EA  on sale this weekend as part of a ‘Gold Medal Sale’ – presumably to mark the fact that the Summer Olympics start soon. Lately it seems EA doesn’t need a lot of excuse to offer massive sales – I’m sure we’ll soon see a ‘Days That End in Y’ sale from them.

Monopoly for iPad: Down form $9.99 to 99 cents
