YouTube iPad App Updated – Choose Video Quality on Wi-Fi

YouTube iPad app

The YouTube iPad and iOS app was updated yesterday, to Version 2.2.0.

The big new feature in this update is the ability to choose video quality while on a Wi-Fi connection. You can do this while watching a video just by tapping on the More and then Settings buttons and then making your choice. Pretty slick.

The remaining change list items in this update to YouTube for iPad are improvements to accessibility and iOS 7 compatibility.

Google’s been doing quite a nice job of updating and improving the YouTube app since it came back into the App Store as a 3rd party app.
