Maiko 434 iPad painting

Maiko 434 is today’ featured iPad painting. It was created by Flickr member Yoshiyuki Uchida, using the Brushes 2 app on an iPad 3.

I believe the word Maiko is an apprentice geisha in western Japan, at least so says Wikipedia. In any case I think this image is incredibly striking and the colors in it are just glorious.

You can see more of Yoshiyuki Uchida’s work in their Flickr stream.

And of course you can take a moment and admire lots more fantastic iPad paintings in our own iPad Art section.
