After a successful iPad pilot program with an initial 40 dealerships this summer, Mercedes-Benz is expanding its iPad program to all 355 U.S. dealerships this fall.
Good to see that the iPad appears to be sailing through pilot programs with flying colors, and at many blue-chip companies. The Apple Insider report on this states that the pilot program at Mercedes Benz had ‘overwhelmingly positive results’.
The iPad is being used on the showroom floor at Mercedes dealerships, running a custom company app, to assist with loan applications and paperwork.
