The iPad is continuing to prove its versatility in fitting neatly into a wide range of work environments. This week there are stories about a Chicago restaurant – Chicago Cut Steakhouse – that is handing out iPads to its diners to browse the wine list with.
The restaurant is using 40 iPads to help patrons choose from their 800 wine selections. It looks like the iPad is working out well for the Chicago Cut Steakhouse as well:
Managing partner David Flom says the iPad has increased Chicago cut’s wine sales because guests keep the iPad at the table and become interested in trying various wines.
