The Crazy Penguin Catapult game series has been a long-time favorite for my daughter and I ever since its first iPhone version cam out a couple of years ago. So it’s great to Crazy Penguin Catapult for iPad hit the App Store this weekend.
This game is a classic example of a simple and fun iOS game – on that’s simple to get into and though it doesn’t have tons of levels, it’s got good replay value especially for younger kiddos.
Here’s more about the game, via its App Store page:
Penguins can fly (they just need a little help)! Fend off invading polar bears by hurtling courageous penguins at them with your trusty catapult in Crazy Penguin Catapult for iPad!
Launch over 200 penguins in Campaign Mode or play endless matches in Strategy Mode.
Triumph in boss battles and unlock crazy penguin power-ups including Ninja, Fire, The Twins and more! Get an additional Strategy game that lets you command armies of penguins to attack and capture enemy polar bear territories. Didn’t get a perfect score? Retry levels to get the highest score possible with endless replay value! Watch your score bubble up as you are racing to break ice blocks and knock over polar bears.
And some of its key features:
•Two great games in one:
(1)Campaign Mode: Original and charming story with over 200 penguins to launch
(2)Strategy Mode: Take over enemy bear territories in a turn-based struggle for domination
•Unlock 9 clever power-ups
•Explore 3 unique maps
•Replay levels to get all of the stars and a perfect score
•Great controls – gently slide or tap your fingers on the touch screen to move your penguin on the map
•Use the accelerometer when launching the penguins by doing a quick flick with your device
•Check your progress in real time with High Scores
•Bright and polished graphics creating a vibrant Antarctic environment.
•Excellent music and sound effects
I’ll definitely be grabbing this one later today.
