Jurassic Park: The Game 1 HD for iPad is on sale at more than 50% off – reduced from $6.99 to $2.99. This is part of Telltale Games holiday sale that runs from today through the new year.

This game is one of the most impressive that I’ve seen for the iPad. Here’s a little intro detail on it:

By truly maximizing the processing power of the iPad 2 Jurassic Park: The Game delivers breath-taking cinematic scenes and graphics so lush you’ll feel as if you’re playing the movie.

The Game is a cinematic adventure that takes players back to Isla Nublar during the events of the first Jurassic Park film. Players will experience Jurassic Park as they never have before in an interactive format. In addition to locations and creatures familiar to fans of the movie, the game offers new areas to explore and new prehistoric beasts to survive in a game that combines fast-paced action, exploration and puzzle-solving.

Right now the game offers one episode that includes 12 scenarios to play through. Episodes 2 and 3 are listed as ‘coming soon’. I’m not sure whether these will come as free updates or In-App purchases (hopefully the former).

The game supports AirPlay Mirroring – so you can enjoy it on a big screen TV if you’ve got the Apple TV 2 – and it looks fantastic when this feature is used.

An iPad 2 and iOS 4.2 or later are required for this game.

Telltale Games have got a large number of iPad games included in their holiday sale and reduced down to $2.99  – including their Back to the Future and Monkey Island Tales titles. Check out all their iPad games here: http://bit.ly/tnZqV5
