Drive on Moscow is the next strategic wargame for the iPad being developed by the great team at Shenandoah Studio. Shenandoah are the developers of the superb Battle of the Bulge iPad wargame and they plan to develop a whole series of turn-based strategy games for the iPad. Their titles are designed in a way that makes them a lot like an old-school wargame played as a board game, but taking full advantage of the iPad in creating a new generation of these games.
This week Shenandoah has released their Drive on Moscow Design Diary 2, in which the game’s designer discusses using the game system from Battle of the Bulge and all the ways he has adapted and modified it to make it more appropriate for the Eastern Front campaigns that are involved in Drive on Moscow.
They’ve also offered up a few more early game screenshots – like the one shown above. I love seeing these shots that show the larger scale of this upcoming game.
Hopefully we’ll see Drive on Moscow released before the end of this year.
