Real Racing 3 for iPad has been updated again this week – to Version 1.3.5. The item listed last on the change list is the most interesting feature for me:
iOS 7 compatibility and bug fixes – Full support for the latest version of iOS alongside fixes for a number of reported issues.
The Real Racing series has always been right in the vanguard of early supporters for new generations of iOS and of important new iOS features. They were the first game I can recall that really took advantage of AirPlay Mirrorring when it came out. It’s good to see that the game is among the first to offer iOS 7 support.
The rest of this update is mostly focused on the addition of 7 new Porsche models.
Celebrate 50 years of one of motorsport’s most legendary vehicles! Real Racing 3’s garage expands with the addition of seven generations of the Porsche 911.
• New cars – Seven new Porsche including the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 (1972), the 911 GT2 (2003), and the brand new 911 RSR (2013).
• New Series – Compete against a grid of masterfully engineered Porsche sports cars in the illustrious 50 Years of 911 Series.
• VIP Delivery – New options for instant car deliveries and upgrades to help you get on the track faster.
Real Racing is one of the best racing games for iPad, and staying on top of updates and iOS updates is one of the things that keeps it in that group.
