Real Racing 3 for iPad

Real Racing 3 for iPad, one of the most popular iPad racing games, has been updated again this week – to Version 1.1.2. The image above tells you almost everything you need to know about this latest update – it offers a brand new track, a new car manufacturer, and new cars.

The new track is the Dubai Autodrome; the new manufacturer is Lexus; and these are the new cars:

Lexus IS-F, Lexus LFA, Dodge Charger RT, Dodge Charger SRT8

There are also over 50 new events added in this update.

The Real Racing series has consistently been one of the best racing experiences on the iPad, and the developers (FireMonkeys and EA) certainly aren’t slacking on pumping out the features for Real Racing 3.

What’s your favorite iPad racing game?

  1. To be honest, I preferred Real Racing 2 over Real Racing 3. This is a good update for us none the less, but I’m not very happy with the freemium approach the developers decided to take with this game.

I’d prefer to pay a flat out fee for a game, rather than get it for free and be urged to buy in game currency so often.

    1. I agree that the freemium elements are a bit over the top in this generation of the game.
