I must say its not retina,but once again in hand use is just great has very accurate color saturation.
I have zero complaints in regards to the display.
It renders web pages fast and clear.
With all the great apps form factor battery life its a no brainer.
Put one in your hand and it will be hard to put down.

I’ve been using mine for a few weeks now. Overall, I like the Mini much better than the full size iPad. I had a friend’s iPad3 here for a week for comparisons, and more than half the time I went for the Mini.

Photos are fine, text is fine. Color is true, contrast levels are what they should be. As a photographer that’s important to me. Actually, I’ve never met an Apple display I didn’t like.
