Apple has announced that they’ll be live-streaming their latest ‘special event’ tomorrow, September 1. The event is scheduled to start at 10AM PDT / 1:00PM Eastern tomorrow.
Apple® will broadcast its September 1 event online using Apple’s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires either a Mac® running Safari® on Mac OS® X version 10.6 Snow Leopard®, an iPhone® or iPod touch® running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad™. The live broadcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT on September 1, 2010 at www.apple.com.
Very cool that we’ll be able to tune in via an iPad as well.
The event invitation included the image at the top of this post, so it’s thought to have a focus on music and perhaps feature an iTunes In the Cloud or similar announcement as a lead item. There’s also a lot of speculation that iTV (the new branding of Apple TV) will be a major focus.
I’m not expecting a lot of iPad news – but it would be great to hear a mention of when iOS 4 for iPad will be released. Even better if we hear any news on new models.
Will you be tuning in to the livestream tomorrow? Got any predictions to share on what will be announced?
