At the beginning of yesterday’s iPhone OS 4 Preview event, before getting down to the business at hand, Steve Jobs shared a few crazy big iPad numbers with the audience. They included:

– 450,000 sold so far – and that was with Apple stores closed (for Easter) on the Sunday of its initial release weekend.  So 450K sold in its first four days on sale.

– 600,000 book downloads in the iBookstore

– Over 3.5 millions apps downloaded already

The thing is, having used the iPad for a week now, I can’t say I’m surprised. :)
