OmniGraffle for iPad

The Omni Group today announced that it sold its five thousandth OmniGraffle® for iPad™ on Wednesday, just 32 days after its introduction on April 3.

That’s right around $250,000 in sales in just a tad over a month.  Not too shabby.  OmniGraffle is described as a diagramming and concept visualization program, and in their statement Omni Group (the app’s publisher) noted that they ‘strongly believe in the iPad’s potential as a productivity tool‘.  Looks like at least 5,000 others would agree with that.

It really does feel as if the iPad apps market is going to support considerably higher pricing than the iPhone has so far.  I think that’s a good thing.

Are any of you OmniGraffle users?  If so, how are you finding it?  Worth the $49.99 price tag?
