It looks like we may see an iOS app for the trendy new Google+ service in the App Store soon. Erica Joy, a Google employee, has posted on Google+ itself saying:
For my iPhone using friends: the Google+ iPhone app has been submitted to the App Store (no, not today, sometime prior to today) and is awaiting approval.
That was posted yesterday morning (7/4) so the app has been in the review queue for at least a couple of days now. 9to5Mac says it sounds as if it will be a universal app, designed for both iPad and iPhone.
I’ve been enjoying my first few days on Google+, though I still haven’t spent a great deal of time with it. A nice iPad app to use for it would definitely increase my usage. Here’s hoping they get approval quickly (no Google Voice lost in limbo treatment) and that it is a universal app.
